Hawken to Offer Educator's Workshop for Entrepreneurial Studies

Hawken School will offer an "Educator's Workshop for Entrepreneurial Studies," to help educators design and implement entrepreneurial studies curricula.
Workshop participants will be immersed in a shared learning experience with educators who developed a Lean Launch Pad-based curriculum for 5-12 students. LLP, used by the top graduate schools, incorporates the business model canvas with customer development and agile development in team-based, experiential learning.

Workshop attendees will also learn about the ways in which an entrepreneurial course develops the skills, knowledge and character that prepare students for their world in ways that traditional courses do not.

The workshop will be led by Doris Korda, Hawken Associate Head of School and Director of The Miller Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, and Alexander Kehaya, founder of TeachingTrep, and will be held June 16-18 at K&S Ranch near Santa Cruz, CA.
