Graduate's Film Airs This Week on PBS

Tune into "Extreme by Design" on WVIZ Cleveland, Thursday Dec. 12 at 8pm, to watch a film produced and co-directed by Hawken graduate Ralph King '74. (Check your local PBS listings in other areas.)
As stated on the film's website, "At a time of unprecedented global challenges, the under-30 'millennial' generation has every reason to be disengaged. Yet plenty of millennials are engaged. Call it the empathy revolution. 'Extreme By Design,' an hour-long documentary film, brings this revolution to life by following three Stanford University students as they design and build products to meet basic needs of the world’s poor."

Ralph King '74 spent three years producing and co-directing this film and says he plans to roll the film out to schools and youth groups nationwide "to inspire millennials to become creative problem-solvers." Sounds like a Hawken grad!
