1931 Alum Reflects on WWII in PD Article

1931 Hawken graduate Jock Collens reflects on his experiences in World War II in an August 15 Plain Dealer feature article.
After Hawken, Collens went to school at Harvard and Yale and was working at a law firm in New York when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

He enlisted in the army and after attending officers' school, was sent oversees. Facing events that would traumatize many, Collens took it all as "just another day."
