Fifth Grader Makes Award Winning Video

Fifth grader Jackson Slater won first place in a video contest sponsored by The Ned Show. Congratulations, Jackson!
Fifth grader Jackson Slater has won first place in a video contest sponsored by The Ned Show. The NED Show is an elementary school assembly program promoting positive attitudes, better behavior and academic achievement.  The character education program is based on the acronym NED - Never give up, Encourage others, Do your best.

This winter, The NED Show announced a "call for entries" for it's 3rd annual NED Video Contest.  Fifth grader Jackson Slater answered the call and was a first place prize winner.

As stated on NED's website: "Jackson saw the NED Video Contest as an opportunity to catch the NED effect in action on campus. While he acts as director, camera, and music composer, Jackson still requested that the prize be awarded to the school because he couldn't have done it without everyone's support. Talk about a NED attitude!"

Jackson has been a movie maker since the tender age of three! You can view his award winning video
