Students to Compete at National Events
At the end of October at a regional competition in Boardman, OH, the three-person team of Shang-Shang Chen ‘14, Max Schachere ‘15, and Aman Nair ‘15 qualified to compete in the National History Bowl in Arlington, VA in April 27, 2013. They made it to the semi-final round of competition, playing against four-person teams all day.
Shang-Shang and Max also participated in two individual events, the National History Bee and the National Geography Bee. They qualified for the national competitions in both events, also in Arlington, VA, on April 28, 2013 and April 26, 2013, respectively.
