Debaters Excel in Indianapolis Competition
Hawken debaters participated in the National Forensic League National Debate tournament in Indianapolis, June 10-15.
Ani Dasarathy ‘12 achieved semi-finalist status by placing 11th in Lincoln Douglas debate and received a trophy at the Lincoln Douglas final round debate.

Ani Dasarathy ‘12 achieved semi-finalist status by placing 11th in Lincoln Douglas debate and received a trophy at the Lincoln Douglas final round debate.
Tim Perevozchikov ‘14 and Ron Lubarsky ‘14 also achieved semi-finalist status by placing 10th in Public Forum debate and received trophies at the Public Forum final round debate. They are honored as "Rupe Scholars" and each received a $1000 scholarship from the Arthur Rupe Foundation. They also have automatically qualified for the 2013 Tournament of Champions and for the 2013 NFL National tournament.
