Graduate Published in Equal Justice Journal

Cecile Murray ‘s ’11, submission to the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network’s 10Ideas for Equal Justice Journal was selected for upcoming publication. The Journal selects the best 10 policy ideas in six topic areas for publication. Cecile’s submission, under the topic area of Equal Justice, advocated the inclusion of sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes in an employment and housing discrimination bill currently pending in the Ohio legislature.
 
The Roosevelt Institute Campus Network, founded in 2004 on the Yale and Stanford campuses, is a national student initiative with a current membership of 10,000, and 85 campus chapters. Its mission is to engage young people in progressive activism that will empower them as leaders and promote ideas for change.
 
Cecile is a first year student at the University of Chicago, currently considering International Studies and/or Economics as her primary field of study.
