New Tennis Courts to Grace Gates Mills Campus
Construction on new tennis courts will begin on Monday, August 29, at the Gates Mills campus.
For many years, Hawken School has boasted conference champions, state-ranked boys and girls tennis teams, and individual state qualifiers. Unfortunately, the Gates Mills campus does not have the quality tennis courts to match its level of play.
Made possible by a lead gift from the Stan and Irina Shulman family, Hawken plans to build eight new tennis courts on the upper field located across from the entrance to the Pool Lobby. Funding for six courts is secured; the School is seeking contributions to fund the remaining two courts.
