Hawken Places First in CVC Academic Tournament
Hawken students took first place at both the varsity and junior varsity levels in the 2nd Annual Chagrin Valley Conference Academic Tournament held at Hawken on Saturday, March 5th. The varsity team was undefeated; its matches included a 1 point win over 2nd place Beachwood. They also qualified for the Regional Ohio Academic Competition to be held on Saturday, April 30th at Cloverleaf High School.The JV team finished in a three-way tie based on record, with each team having only one loss, but won based on the total points scored tiebreaker.
