Lower School Students Embrace Winter

Lower School physical education teacher Sandy Kahn has discovered a recipe for conquering the winter blues: combine snow with chilly temperatures and add a sled, some snowshoes, or a pair of skis! Winter physical education classes inspire students to develop a fit and healthy lifestyle throughout the year by highlighting some favorite winter activities including sledding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing as well as winter relays, games, and team building activities. As the students have discovered, there’s nothing more fun or energizing than outdoor fun.
