MS Teachers Collaborate on Publishing Children’s Book

The Twin Fairy Sisters, by author Jenifer Halliday (assistant director of the Middle School) and illustrator Erin Thomas (Middle School art teacher), is the first of a four-series collection of stories about friendship, sharing, and the powerful bond between twins. The project began as a collaborative, creative outlet for two colleagues, friends and moms who were looking for a way to explore their passions and create a tangible gift to their children, all of whom serve as inspiration for the characters and the story. The result is an engaging and heartfelt tale highlighted by colorful artwork that is sure to capture the imaginations and reflect the experiences of young children everywhere.
