Senior Attends ARNOVA International Conference

Emily Weatherhead `10 set-up her Spot the A Checkerspot display at the ARNOVA (Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action) Conference held in Cleveland on Saturday, November 21. The conference brings together researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to present and discuss cutting-edge research papers related to issues in nonprofit studies, voluntary action, and philanthropy. Emily was among the approximately 650 teachers, researchers, professionals, and students attending the conference, which featured April Kunze, Vice President for Programming at Interfaith Youth Core, as the keynote speaker. In Ms. Kunze`s address titled "Young People with Vision: Can NP`s be Vehicles to Change the World?" she discussed the potential for and challenges of institutionalizing a vision for creating positive change in our society.
