Knowledge Master Team Places First Nationally
A team of 21 Hawken Upper school students recently competed in the Spring Knowledge Master Competition. The students once again finished first nationally in Division II and second among all Ohio divisions. The test consists of two hundred multiple choice questions from fifteen different subject areas; students are timed, and accuracy and speed determine a team`s score. Six hundred fifty-two schools participated in the spring competition, with one hundred seventeen schools in our Division II. Congratulations to all Knowledge Master team members: freshmen Nicole Berry, Miles Bloomenkranz, Ani Dasarathy, Aaron Ekstein, Robert Fearon, Mitch Krall, Rebecca Licata, Jonathan Meckler, Adil Menon, and Eric Xiao; sophomores Joclyn Adams, Margaret Erlendsdotthir, and Hannah Kerman; juniors T.J. Callahan and David Gerson; and seniors John Borokhovich, Dylan Herts, Brian Huser, Alec Lai, Sam Milner, and Ben Sala.
