Girls Cross-Country Team Advances to Regionals
The Girls Cross-Country Team advances to the Canton Glen Oak Regional on the strength of their 5th place finish at the very competive Edgewater District meet on Saturday October 18, 2008. They were lead by freshman Mackenzie Harris who finish in 6th place with a season best time of 20:31 for the 5K (3.1 mile) distance. She was followed by Taylor Pearl (22), Christy Nolan (29), Julia Bramante (37) and Hannah Leibeskind (40), who all ran very well in the chilly wind along Lake Erie. The Girls will run at Regionals on Saturday Oct 25, at 1;20 PM. Go Hawken!!!
