Boys Cross-Country Team Wins at Tiffin
The Hawken Boys Cross-Country team won the Division III-B race at the Tiffin Carnival Invitational on Sept. 6, 2008. The boys scored 120 points, winning by 12 points in the 24 team field. The boys ran with great team energy and spirit, with all of the boys setting new personal records for the 5K distance. The boys team was represented by Seth Shill-5th, Ian Mullenhour-9th, Roman Kowalysko-29th, Connor Mussara-34th, Gavin Hensley-43rd, Dan Gens, and Travis Salvati. The Hawken Girls team also had a great day finishing 21st in a strong state caliber Division III-A race, with 56 teams entered. The girls also set many new PR`s and season best times. They were lead by Mackenzie Harris, Christy Nolan, Julia Bramante, Taylor Pearl, and Maddie Bell.
