Harvest Time
After observing and comparing trees at Hawken, kindergartners traveled to Chesterland, Ohio to discover more. Students broadened their science learning by visiting the Eddy Fruit Farm. Mr. Eddy explained the true meaning of harvest by showing them items he harvests each year. The Kindergartners concluded their visit by venturing into the orchards to pick and taste delicious Melrose apples and Concord grapes.
