Eighth Grade Students Study Math, Science at Chagrin River
Eighth grade students visited the Chagrin River in the North Chagrin Metroparks reservation and spent the day studying the health of the river. While at the river, they did various math and science measurements. These included velocity and volume of the river, as well as other measurements of physical, chemical and biological characteristics. These measurements will be reported to Ohio`s Scenic Rivers program as part of our annual project to help monitor the quality of the Chagrin River at this point.
