Hawken parades the Circle
Over 25 students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends participated recently in Hawken`s return to Parade the Circle at University Circle. The event is the Cleveland Museum of Art`s annual celebration of art, music and dance. This year, Upper school art classes, with a bit of help from the preschoolers, prepared flags, banners, and costumes for the parade, which was themed \"Symbiosis — a lyrical discord of harmonious contradictions.\" Hawken`s theme was \"Screens and screams; impressions of Japan. Koi, cranes, blossoms, Godzilla.\"
