Co-chairs work magic on auction raffles

L2K
There are many energetic volunteers who work to make Hawken auction`s \"A Night to Remember.\" The fun-filled biennial event brings the entire Hawken community together to honor Hawken faculty by raising money for professional development. Two amazing women have stepped up to co-chair this year`s auction raffles: Dee Dee Miller and Rochelle Gross. And in addition to orchestrating the traditional cash raffle the pair has added an exciting tuition raffle. Several generous Hawken families have donated the amount for a fully paid Hawken tuition for which 250 tickets will be sold at $200 each. The lucky winning ticket will be drawn at the auction on April l4, 2007. Dee Dee has two sons attending Hawken; Will, a junior, and Matt, a freshman. She has been involved at Hawken since day one... from working in the classroom, to being a CPC representative, to doing admissions outreach, or to cheering on the sidelines in multiple games taking place simultaneously! DeeDee`s sense of humor is infectious and as a former nurse, she is always generous at fielding health questions. Equally as engaging is DeeDee`s raffle co-chair, Rochelle Gross. Rochelle`s son, Aaron, is a junior. Rochelle has also co-chaired teacher appreciation events at the Upper School and there is no louder cheerleader than Rochelle on the sidelines of Hawken football or lacrosse. A former school counselor, Rochelle willinly lends a supportive ear to students and parents.
