`Something for everyone`

jb
The weather on the Saturday of the Fall Family Fair, October 14, was erratic, almost manic. Blackened skies one minute. Clear the next. There was snow, then rain. But none of that seemed to damper the day`s events. The new gym at the Upper School was astir with fair fervor as Lower and Middle school families took part in this year`s fair, which benefits the Parents` Association Teacher`s Wish List. Middle School students, as in years past, developed and ran the games that filled the Upper School Sports Complex. In addition, there was a Chinese raffle, bake sale, Sweet Shop and more. Make sure you continue to add the fair to your family`s yearly list of annual traditions. "There`s something for everyone," said Hawken parent Beth Hobson, who co-chaired the event with parent Rena Rosen. One particular note of interest: a boy`s whale tooth necklace was lost. If anyone found it, please contact jburr@hawken.edu.
