Seventh Graders Host Visiting Artist

Artist Bess Rodriguez will be visiting seventh grade classes this week. Ms. Rodriguez paints primarily in acrylics and is an expressionistic colorist. She will be working with seventh graders to creates works using egg tempera. In conjunction with the seventh grade history curriculum, students created a collage of images from the civil war that effected them in some way. They will transfer these images to a piece of jessoed massonite and use egg tempera to add muted color to the work.
