Teacher Drums Way to Festival Stage
Chad Komocki teaches Upper School Spanish by day. But by night, he plays drums in various bands performing anything from jazz to rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, country, or \"a little bit of everthing,\" as he notes. In November, his band David Wank and the Boys competed against 10 other acts from Northeast Ohio to win the opening slot on the Kent Folk Festival`s main evening concert. When asked if he rubbed elbows with the concert headliner, Donovan, Komocki replied \"no agents, no Donovan, but four minutes on the same stage as him.\"
