Seniors Rank High in National Debate Tournament
Ozan Cubukcu ‘10 and Mike Gwin ’10 traveled to Chicago this weekend to participate in the Glenbrooks Debate Tournament, the largest high school debate tournament in the nation. Among teams from across the nation that were represented at the tournament, Ozan and Mike were 6-0 and first seed in Public Forum debate in the preliminary rounds, winning their double octa, octa, quarter-final, and semi-final rounds. They lost the final round on a 2-1 decision and were the runner-up in the Public Forum category. If you are interested in viewing the final round, it can be accessed at www.nfltv.org.
